Usage Data is collected automatically when You use the Service, primarily through our third-party analytics provider (Google Analytics).

  • To process payments: We share payment-related data with our third-party payment provider (Stripe) to process league season purchases and stats entry requests. We do not store Your credit card number; Stripe handles payment data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

  • To fulfill stats entry requests: If You request stats entry for a game, We share the associated YouTube video link, player names, profile pictures, and jersey numbers with Our contractors or service providers who manually enter game statistics. These workers view the video and player information solely to identify players and record plays for that specific game.

We may share Your personal information in the following situations:

  • With Service Providers: We share data with third-party service providers that help Us operate and improve the Service, including Google Analytics (for usage analytics), Stripe (for payment processing), and contractors who perform stats entry. These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their services and are subject to their own privacy policies or contractual obligations.
  • For business transfers: We may share or transfer Your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company.
  • With other users and the public: When You enter game data, player names, stats, or other Content for a group or league, that information is visible to other members of that group or league and may be publicly visible (e.g., on leaderboards, player profiles, and group pages).
  • With Your consent: We may disclose Your personal information for any other purpose with Your consent.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Game data, stats, leaderboards, player profiles, and group or league pages may be publicly accessible on the Service. Information You enter (including player names, game results, and statistics) may be visible to anyone who visits the Service, not only to members of Your group or league. Detailed Information on the Processing of Your Personal Data

The Service Providers We use may have access to Your Personal Data. These third-party vendors collect, store, use, process and transfer information about Your activity on Our Service in accordance with their Privacy Policies.

We may use third-party Service providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.

    Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service.     We use Google reCAPTCHA on our registration form to protect against spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information (such as device and application data) and sends it to Google for analysis. We use a third-party payment provider to process league season purchases.

  • Stripe

    Stripe collects and processes payment information (e.g., credit card number, billing address) on Our behalf. We do not store Your credit card number directly; Stripe handles payment data in accordance with its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS requirements.

Our Service allows users to embed and sync game videos hosted on YouTube.

Capitalized terms below have the following meanings:

  • Account means a unique account created for You to access the Service or parts of it.
  • Content means text, images, data, or other information that You post, upload, or link to through the Service (including stats, player names, game data, and links to videos).
  • Country means the State of Florida, United States.
  • Feedback means feedback, suggestions, or ideas You send Us regarding the Service.
  • Service means the Saturday Ball website and related features operated by the Company.
  • Terms means these Terms and Conditions.
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the entity on whose behalf that individual is acting.

1. Who We Are

The Service is operated by SaturdayBall LLC, a company in the state of Florida, United States ("Company," "We," "Us," or "Our"). The Service is the Saturday Ball website and related features (the "Service") accessible at https://www.saturdayball.com.

2. What the Service Does

Saturday Ball is a pickup basketball stat tracker. It allows groups and leagues to record game data (e.g., plays, box scores), view stats, leaderboards, and player profiles. The Service supports:

  • Pickup groups - Create a group, add players, track results, and build leaderboards and advanced player stats.
  • Leagues - Create a league with teams and players, capture results, and view standings and advanced stats. The first season may be offered as a free trial with a limited number of games; additional or continued use may require payment.
  • Play-by-play and box scores - Enter plays or upload box scores; the Service calculates advanced stats. You may also sync plays to videos (e.g., on YouTube) and highlight moments.
  • Request Stats Entry - You may request that We enter stats for a game by providing a linked YouTube video. Pricing is based on video duration and disclosed at the time of request. This service is in beta and may not always be available; do not depend on it as Your only means of recording game statistics.

Pricing for leagues (trials, game limits, and purchases) may be configured by Us and processed through third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe). Pickup groups may use the Service for free as described on the Service.

Pricing Changes and Paid Features

We reserve the right to change Our pricing at any time. For paid league seasons or other recurring charges, any price change will apply to future billing periods. We will give You reasonable advance notice (e.g., at least 30 days) before a price change takes effect for Your next billing period, so that You may cancel or discontinue use if You do not agree to the new price.

We also reserve the right to put certain features behind a paywall or to change which features are free and which require payment. We may introduce new paid features or convert features that are currently free to paid, and We will make reasonable efforts to communicate such changes on the Service.

3. Acceptance and Age

By accessing or using the Service, You agree to be bound by these Terms and by Our Privacy Policy. If You do not agree, You may not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If You are under 18, You should have a parent or guardian review these Terms with You. By using the Service, You represent that You meet this age requirement.

The Service may link to third-party sites (e.g., YouTube, payment providers). We do not control and are not responsible for those sites or their terms or privacy practices. Use of third-party services is at Your own risk. We advise You to read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites You visit.

8. Refunds

For paid league season purchases: You may request a refund only if (i) the request is made within 30 days of the purchase date, and (ii) no more than ten (10) games have been added to the purchased season. Once more than ten games have been added to that season, the purchase is final and no refund will be given. To request a refund, email customer-support@saturdayball.com with Your account email and the season or transaction at issue. If Your request meets these conditions, We will process the refund to the original payment method and delete the season; the season and its data will be removed from the Service. We are not obligated to refund if the above conditions are not met.

For stats entry requests: You may receive a full refund if We cancel Your request before stats entry is complete. Once stats have been entered, no refund is available.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COMPANY AND ITS SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (100 USD), WHICHEVER IS GREATER. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations; in those jurisdictions, Our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

Accuracy of Statistics

Statistics, leaderboards, player profiles, and other calculated data displayed on the Service are derived from user-entered input and are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any computed statistics. You should not rely on the Service as the sole source of truth for any official league decisions, awards, or disputes.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SaturdayBall LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to (a) Your use of the Service, (b) Content You provide through the Service, (c) Your violation of these Terms, or (d) Your violation of any third party's rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate Your Account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. If You breach these Terms, We may terminate Your access immediately.

Upon termination, Your Account will be disabled and Your right to use the Service will cease. We may retain or delete Your data in accordance with Our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

If You wish to terminate Your Account, You may simply discontinue using the Service or contact Us at customer-support@saturdayball.com to request that Your Account be disabled.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to the Service or these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida. You agree to try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting Us before initiating any legal proceeding.

13. For European Union (EU) Users

If You are a consumer in the European Union, You may benefit from mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which You are resident.

14. United States Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) You are not located in a country that is subject to a United States government embargo or that has been designated by the United States government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) You are not listed on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

15. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, We will make reasonable efforts to notify users (e.g., by requiring renewed acceptance or by notice on the Service). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If You do not agree, You must stop using the Service.

16. Severability and Waiver

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not waive that right or provision.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between You and the Company regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.
